When you break things down to levels "scientific", our process is rather simple. In most circumstances, it is followed to a "t" whether we realize it our not.
Ask everything. Question everything.
You talk. We listen and ask questions to get a better idea of project scope & direction. This is where we learn about your business and your goals while doing our best to put ourselves in your shoes. Do we sell shoes? Nope. But we have an uncanny ability to see the world through our clients eyes.
This helps us visualize ways we can help. It may simply be that a new logo is in order. Or that an entire brand overhaul is needed. But the "Ask" phase of the project situates us in a place that we can properly address your advertising, marketing and overall brand needs.
Plan for the work ahead
Chaos ensues without planning. And with all Brand, Logo, Website or Graphic Design projects, this is especially true. First of all, planning helps us work together to determine a solid direction, timeline & estimated cost. And yes, while you want to know the cost, we also have to plan on costs as well.
Planning also allows us to launch projects in a timely manner. Make no mistake. While it may seem that there is plenty of time to get your project finished, every project ends up being needed sooner than planned.
Put on some tunes. Get bus-y.
This is where the magic happens. Planning comes together with our initial learning sessions in the Ask phase, and we create. Sometimes its on paper. Sometimes on the Intous. Sometimes its straight to the computer.
Ultimately, we kick out some cool comps and do our best to mock them up in a manner that allows our clients to "see" what we are thinking. Usually in context. Depending on project scope - 2-4 comps are delivered for Client review.
Take a step back. Does it look right? Refine.
Sometimes we nail it on the first go-round. Boom. Those are awesome projects. But they are rate. Usually it takes some massaging to get it to the point where a client is happy. This is perfectly acceptable, as its "yours" not ours.
While we certainly want to be happy with the finished product, our ultimate goal is to make the client happy. After all, they are the ones who will look at it everyday.
Deliver final work deliverables.
Final comps are ready. Once completed, final design(s) is archived into multiple formats and delivered to client or printer for use as needed. If the project requires printing or placement, we work within our network to find the best quality deliverable for the best price.
In the event of broadcast or traditional advertising, we coordinate the delivery of final print or files so they can be published or aired for the world to see.
